Q: Can the bracelets be worn in the water?
A: Yes. Our bracelets are designed to be worn on, in & around the water. We use custom, marine grade, lines and 316L stainless steel hardware.
Q: What is the metal material?
A: 316L stainless steel, ie marine grade. Will never rust, corrode or fade.
Payment & Ordering
Q: How do I pay for my order?
A: Our payment alternatives include Klarna (available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany and Austria) and credit/debit card.
No fee is charged for any of these payment options.
Q: How do I use Klarna to pay?
A: The option to pay with Klarna is available for residents in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany and Austria and is chosen after you have entered your shipping address.
Q: Do you collect sales tax and, if so, where and what %?
A: Customers from European countries are charged 25% Swedish VAT.
For buyers in Sweden and the European Union the total price including Swedish VAT (25%) will be shown at check-out. For orders from countries outside the EU, the sum to pay will not include Swedish VAT.
Please note that the shipping cost to the United States covers ALL TARIFFS and SHIPPING COSTS, no extra custom fees will be added upon receiving the parcel.
For other buyers located outside the European Union, local VAT and import customs, if applicable, may have to be paid by the buyer in his own country. This is decided by your local custom legislation and is beyond our control.
Q: Is your site safe?
A: Our site is 100% secure through the use of a SSL certificate. When a SSL certificate is used, all entered information becomes unreadable to everyone except for the server you are sending the information to. You can check if a website uses this feature by looking at the website address in the address field where you will see a small padlock icon.
Shipping & Delivery
Q: Where from is my order sent?
A: Your order ships from the Swedish island of Hönö, on the west-coast of Sweden.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we ship all over the seven seas.
Q: When will my order arrive?
A: Please allow 1-2 days for your ordered items to be created.
The estimated delivery times are as follows:
Sweden 2-3 working days, European Union 4-6 working days, US/Canada 7-12 working days, the rest of the world 10-14 working days.
Q: How much does the shipping cost?
A: All orders within Sweden ship for free.
All worldwide orders over €60 ship free, excluding the US.
Please note: due to the new US tariffs, we can unfortunately no longer offer free shipping to the US.
The shipping cost to the US is $14.90 incl. all tariffs. There will be no extra charge for you when your parcel enters the US.
For worldwide orders below this amount, shipping costs 69 SEK. The exact amount in your currency will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Sizes & Measuring
Q: How does the sizing work?
A: The size you order is the inner circumference of the clasped bracelet, meaning that it will fit a wrist of up to that measurement.
For example: A bracelet with the size 7" (17.8 cm) fits a wrist of up to that measurement or somewhat smaller, around 6.8" (17.3 cm).

Q: Can I order a custom size?
A: Absolutely! Let us know your wrist-measurement in the comments section at check-out. For information on how to measure your wrist see the following question.
Q: How do I measure my wrist?
A: We recommend using a tape measure (a piece of string and a ruler works fine too) and measuring the circumference of your wrist just above the hand.
To calculate a perfect fit place your smallest finger between your wrist and the tape measure to allow for some slack. The total (your wrist measurement plus slack) should be smaller than the size you order.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When communicating your measurement to us for custom-making leave your exact wrist-measurement without adding any slack. We will add about 0.19” (0.5 cm) for a comfortable fit. For details view the "Find your perfect size" page here.
Q: I am ordering a gift and don't know what size I should buy, can you help?
A: For women the most popular size is 6.5"/16.5cm and for men 7.5"/19.1cm. If your giftee is heavier built choose one size larger. You may also choose to order an adjustable bracelet like Vinga; Key West, The Anchor Wrap and Newport.
Q: What if my ordered bracelet is too small or too big?
A: No problem, just contact us at info@marissal.se and let us know. You can always exchange the bracelet free of charge for a new one in another size. Please note that there is no return of custom-sized or engraved items.
